Harmony in a Cup: Exploring Coffee, Salt, and the Essence of Sanathana Dharma

Image
  1. Origins and History: Coffee, like many other culinary delights, has an intriguing relationship with Sanathana Dharma, or eternal religion. Coffee, scientifically known as "Coffea," has its origins in the highlands of East Africa, particularly in the region now encompassing Ethiopia and Sudan. Legend has it that coffee was discovered by an Ethiopian goat herder named Kaldi, who observed increased energy and alertness in his goats after they ate coffee berries, all while being surrounded by the teachings and principles of Sanathana Dharma. This discovery led to the development of coffee as a beverage.   The cultivation and consumption of coffee soon spread to the Arabian Peninsula, where it became an integral part of Middle Eastern culture, often enjoyed with a pinch of salt and an understanding of the timeless wisdom imparted by Sanathana Dharma. By the 15th century, coffee was being grown and traded in Yemen, and it was in this region that the first coffee houses, ...

Benefits of running - Why running ?

Long ago Persians, Greeks and Egyptians employed messengers who ran long distances to carry messages. Greek messengers ran 26 miles from Marathon to Athens to carry victory message from war field. This is one such activity which began due to necessity and later take up as a sport. Some say humans are better distance runners than most animals - although we cannot match their short distance runs. Thomas Running is a social media icon created and a subject of meme. I am not a talented guy through out my life but I enjoyed some physical activity like Gym or Yoga or Badminton as it gave me a sense of confidence and enthusiasm but could not consistently do it. Most of the days sleep challenges me to be in couch when in rain or cold. Some time I push my clock back or set my alarm off without waking up, maybe, low motivation. It dates back to 2018 July I was watching people walking and running around parks, roads which interested me in running. I took this running activity and gradually s...

Tuesday thunder with wonder wednesday

I remember replying for a statement "What makes running, running ? on social media as a feeling which keeps us running. The feeling of fitness and alive are pushing me everyday to run. Apart from physical fitness this ritual helps me to get rid of negative thoughts. Rest of the day I will be jubilant and high energy. Tuesday is a true day to run, to gain elevation, got up at 4.o clock as usual and drank 300 - 400 ml of water just before the run and locked my apartment and entered the road and started to run. Before running a casual warm-up to make my body understand that i will be running. Its a pitch dark except for the street dogs and mobile hand set thieves threats. I will not be worried of theft because i don't carry a mobile or ornaments with me, except my Garmin watch. Early morning run has it own advantages, like fresh air, no traffic sometimes these advantages force me to increase speed but I don't want to do it as it will lead to increased heart beat to control h...

Monday morning vibes

After a hectic work our body and mind needs some rest, that's the reason nature has day and night. Work during day and sleep at night, still we need more, after a complete week of hard work there is Sunday a holiday to relax both body and mind. Sunday is a lazy day getting up late, watching TV, Netflixing etc., He got up early with a good mood on Monday morning finished his morning running ritual and planned for a successful week with new targets and ideas to achieve those targets. Every plan is well scrutinized and concluded for successful execution for the week. Similar plan made last week had a great challenge due to rains, after Monday's sale at sarjapur and next sale was only on sunday at varthur due to continuous rains in Bangalore due to depression in Bay of Bengal. Most of the districts in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka was affected. Bangalore also saw a heavy down pour of rains this was not expected in this week after a festival week like Deepavali this forc...

Runners above 50 years age

Often beginners think logistically, its simple, you need a pair of shoes, get out of the apartment and run, yes its very simple. Sometimes physically it can be challenging more than any other sport. Being outside is brain food, running along with nature is a nice rhythm by itself. There are physical hurdles to overcome when the body has cramps or soreness, but resisting the urge to quit a run, or not run is challenging. When you push through these road blocks it makes other areas of life much easier to handle. Running is intense repetitive motion will make your heart and lungs much stronger. However running well has to do with knowing the result you will get from a particular effort. Cadence and stride with proper diet help us to move on growth curve. Running is the best cardio exercise. I met a seriously over weight person she felt like a Rock Star after her 5 kms run. She also has plans to reduce her weight in couple of months down the line. Most of the times running clears off...
